Thorngoth
Thelema
Of Destruction
NSP 047 :
Thorngoth - Thelema Of Destruction CD

Release date: March 23rd,
2007
Signing a band from
Germany is in itself a thing that hardly ever
happens where Northern Silence is concerned.
That the debut album of Thorngoth is being released
through NSP is due to the fact that the band plays a
fucking great kind of traditional Black Metal, with
distinctive Swedish influences and a songwriting
that,
though quite varied, mostly relies on it's two main
strengths, being melodic, pounding mid-paced parts
on the one hand and fast, thundering devastative
ones on the other. Those who know the band's demo
will find the new material a rather big improvement
to the already good demo songs, which grows on you
even more with every turn. Two bands that come to my
mind when listening to Thorngoth are Endstille and
Thy Grief. That doesn't mean the album sounds
exactly like a mix of those two but fans of the
aforementioned
bands might want to check it out. I believe you won't
regret it!
Available as normal version in jewel case and as special edition
in metal case incl. logo patch, ltd to 100 handnumbered copies!
The special edition is only available from
Northern Silence.
