Considered by many fans to be BELENOS' best album, the long out-of-print "Spicilége" received
a major overhaul by mastermind Loic Cellier before seeing its long overdue reissue.

The album was meticulously remastered, resulting in a much more powerful sound, while
preserving the feeling and atmosphere of the original recording.

The music, of course, speaks for itself, and can indeed be considered the pinnacle of BELENOS'
development until that point in their carreer. It is a very well-balanced effort that incorporates
the melancholy of the early demos as well as the majestic atmosphere and technical capability
that came with continuous practice and rehearsing. Celtic Black Metal has indeed hardly ever
been played better than on this album.

To round up a  release that is remarkable in and of itself, Loic decided to include no less than
7 exclusive bonus tracks, bringing the playing time of this reissue to more than 76 minutes.

The first press of the album comes in a limited collectors edition of 1000 copies in A5-Digipack.

Durchhören Spaß machen. Es vermischen sich sowohl Pagan, als auch Folk Elemente in den songs, wobei der aggressive Black Metal Banner über allen thront. Große Namen fallen einem hierbei teilweise ein, aber dieses Werk ist einfach zu authentisch, um Vergleiche herbeizuziehen. Die Produktion ist glasklar, ohne an Bombast oder dreckiger Atmosphäre einzubüßen und so kommen Gitarrenattacken wie Föteneinsätze gleichermaßen zur Geltung.
